Kirsten Gilliam is a native Houstonian who began her journey in 2012.
In 2013 she moved to Brooklyn and freelanced for Macy's and various blogs and websites. She returned to Houston in early 2015 where she stepped into the role of Marketing Director for a local hospitality group. She now freelances locally and has spent her time doing what she loves most- traveling the world and working with new clients.
Her work has been published in Texas Cocktails by Nico Martini, Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade: A New York City Holiday Tradition, Food and Wine, Texas Monthly, andWine Enthusiast as well as Houston City Book, Paper City, Houston Modern Luxury, The Houston Chronicle and Local Magazine. She's also been featured on Punchdrink.com, TexasMonthly.com, Culture Map Houston, Eater Houston, Eater New York, Papercitymag.com, Houston Press, Thrillist, BravoTV.com, and was selected as a finalist for My Table Magazine's June/July 2016 "Feast Your Eyes" competition. She most recently was the official photographer for the 2017/2018 "Chefs Feed Indie Week" in Austin, NYC, LA, Houston, New Orleans, Denver and Portland.
